Popular Sights and Tours

The information listed below are the different areas of Kauai, and examples of what we can see and do in those locations.

 Waimea Canyon and Westside Kauai

Waimea Canyon and Westside Kauai

Waimea Canyon and westside kauai

Waimea Canyon is a must see on Kauai. The road up to the lookout has recently been repaved and is a blast on a motorcycle. State Road 550 quickly climbs to 3,400 feet and provides many great photo spots along the way. On a clear day you can see a few of the Islands off the coast of Kauai.

The West Kauai landscape is the complete opposite of the jungle-like North Shore. It is drier and more desert like. If we continue traveling west past the canyon, you will be greeted with ocean waves crashing right up onto the rocks on the roadside.

 Southside Kauai

Southside Kauai

The Southside of Kauai is usually dry and sunny with great weather year-round. Koloa has an "old town" feel with some great shops and a small museum. The "Tree Tunnel" is located right outside of Koloa. Poipu is a popular vacation area with many beaches, hotels, resorts, shopping, and restaraunts. Poipu is also home to Spouting Horn, and the road runs right next to the beach and beautiful homes.

 Eastside Kauai

EASTSIDE KAUAI

The Eastside of Kauai is considered the windward side. Therefore it is much greener and more jungle-like than the West and South sides. It is home to the Wailua River Valley, Wailua Falls, Opaekaa Falls, Sleeping Giant, Kauai Ranch, and Kapaa Town. There are many great less-traveled mountain roads in this area with amazing views of the mountains, waterfalls, homes and streams.

 North Shore Kauai

North Shore Kauai

Northshore Kauai

Kauai's North Shore is hard to describe in words. Spectacular mountains, beaches, small towns, and multi-million dollar homes. Home to Anahola, Aliomanu, Kilauea ,Moloa'a, Princeville, Hanalei, and Ha'ena towns. Some attraction's include Kilauea Lighthouse, Anini Beach, Taro Fields in Hanalei, and Ha'ena Beach Park (end of the road). There are a few bypasses and lookouts along the way, and if the surf is up there is a good possibility of seeing some pro surfers out. Riding a motorcycle to the North Shore is an amazing experience that should not be missed.
